Squee!! I’ve finally caught up!!!

Yays! ^_^ Now that I have I’ll start posting art again (a…ahaha I really need to do that don’t I… )

Okay, first off is that I would like to wish everyone a happy (late) holidays! I hope everyone’s Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Second: Happy New Year! Wow…2009 already. O_o Where did the year go? It feels like just yesterday that it was the beginning of 2008.

I’ve finished up a big part of my life during 2008, moving on from the last bits of my childhood into the adult world. I’m experiencing the last year of my teenage years during the end of 2008 and during 2009 I shall turn twenty. I voted for the first time ever during this year, and felt as if my vote actually counted when my choice was picked to be the next President of the United States. In this same movement I witnessed the USA’s first African American President take office.

This has truly been a very busy year and it felt like it has gone by so very quickly. And now it’s gone and the new year is just getting into the full swing of things. I plan to hopefully get a job this year and it is my hope that by the end of this year that I’ll save up enough money to move out of my parents home and start living on my own ((Which, admittedly is a very scary idea o_o ))

1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
I completed the first big part of my life: General Education.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make
I forgot to make one last year…

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My younger cousin! She had a beautiful baby girl!

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully, no.

5. What countries did you visit?
I wish I could have visited a country, but nope, stayed in my native land this year…unless you count crossing the country to visit my home town.

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Err…a job, more money…and hopefully by the end of the year (if I can find a job) a place of my own...drawing skills?

7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory?
My graduation date from high school.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Graduating from college with my associates degree –before- I graduated from high school!

9. What was your biggest failure?
Hmm…I guess…not getting out and interacting with people more.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No, though my back feels worse for wear sometimes.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Ooh, what I bought myself was a really nice, new camera. What I’ve received is a really nice, new computer!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My mother’s.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
-_-; My brother’s.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Err…buying myself stuff o_o...oh and Christmas presents

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Hmm…graduation again ^_^

“Alive”-Jekyll and Hyde musical (Hehe =3 ))

i. happier or sadder?: I think I'm about the same.
ii. thinner or fatter?: I actually think I’m a bit thinner actually =o
iii. richer or poorer?: Richer actually…I have money in the bank >_>’

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Drawing, hanging out with friends more, trying harder to get a job.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
^_^’ Done less procrastinating…

20. How will you be spending/did you spend Christmas?
I spent Christmas at home with my family

No…not unless tv and movie actors count

Err..none…

“House: M.D”, ”Avatar: The Last Airbender”, ”Life on Mars (UK)”, “Doctor Who”!

No o_o

“Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde” and “Frankenstein”~ (Victor, you sweet idiot X3 )

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
..ABBA, the Jekyll and Hyde musical…Repo!..and err..whatever my friends have sent me

28. What did you want and get?
I wanted a new computer and a camera. Got those =3

29. What did you want and not get?
Err…can’t think of anything off the top of my head…but lots of things.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Mmm…”27 Dresses”, “Baby Mama”, “Wall-E”!, and “Sweeney Todd”

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Stayed home and had a quiet evening with the family…and I’m 19 (old, old, old… )

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Hmm…having the incentive to start the project I want to start…

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Bedroom wear, very comfy for doing school stuff in.

34. What kept you sane?
Mmm…^_^’ All the cool rps I’ve done.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Oh gosh…David Tennant, John Simm, and Johnny Depp...just to name a few…

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Erhmm…who would be the next best president?

37. Who did you miss?
My cousin on my dad’s side of the family

38. Who was the best new person you met?
There are so many I’ve meet though D= …er…all the new 2008 dA/Gaia people that I’ve meet!
